Frank
Hall Green
A filmmaker/producer, Frank is simultaneously an executive producer for a documentary by filmmaker, George Butler, shooting yet one more short film, completing a thesis for his MFA from New York University’s graduate film school and also writing a few screenplays.
Before Frank emerged with ambitions in film, familial advantages led to many wonderful entrepreneurial
endeavors. Frank founded a nonprofit organization that lobbied for the largest collection of nonprofit Arts institutions in Atlanta, following a short career in fundraising consulting and service on various
boards and committees. Prior to those interludes, he co-founded a business called OfficeWorks, which
provided a facility and consulting services to emerging businesses. Frank also served as a partner
in varied Venture Capital endeavors, drawing on his resourcefulness and the love of his father. Before
succumbing to a business career, Frank spent two years teaching English to children in Kenya, Africa and Kyoto, Japan.
As a filmmaker, Frank has written and directed ten short films on 16mm and 35mm, produced many more and played all the roles a good Indie filmmaker does, such as production manager, cinematographer, gaffer, editor
and, of course, boom operator. Frank earned a BA, also from NYU, in photography and Japanese at the
Gallatin School of Individualized Study.
